Not me just filling out my blog before this thing gets published~

You know, I chose this lil template yoke on Wix because I liked the general look of it, but when I saw it had a blog I was full-on going to delete it. But like??? In my heyday on DeviantART uh... over a decade ago, I had like 100 pages of journals. Were you guys there for that? Golden years. I'd get like twenty comments MAX and half of them were me. But god did I love rambling about the throes of high school on there. It did more for me than therapy did.

Anyway, we'll keep the blog. I'm going to see if I can pretty it up a bit as well. I'm still widely useless with Wix, but at this rate I'll never be able to afford a house so I may as well make my online house pretty. Welcome! I'd offer you a drink, but we're online and this is text.

An introduction, even though I'm trying to have this info everywhere else on this site: I'm Kat, and I write queer fantasy books. I'll be debuting as an indie author in spring of 2026 with Hail the Rising Tides, a multi-POV sapphic fantasy with an achillean side romance because two of the other characters fell in love without my permission and I didn't have the heart to separate them.

Lads, how do we pronounce "achillean"? is it a-kill-ean or a-chill-ean? Help.
